The Adel-Cook County Fire Department provides the highest level of quality fire protection to the citizens of Adel & Cook County, Georgia. The jurisdiction we serve covers a 6.3 square-mile area that is located in South Central Georgia. Serving a population of 5,200, our organization delivers a full range of fire protection including fire prevention,education, fire suppression,and emergency rescue using the "Jaws of Life".

The Adel-Cook County Fire Department is committed to providing our citizens with the best fire protection service possible. This is accomplished in part by maintaining a staff of highly trained personnel. Currently, we are staffed with thirteen full-time, nationally and state certified firefighters as well as twenty paid volunteer state certified firefighters.
